We are taking part in a new project! Alongside Kimberly Doell and Claus Lamm from the Faculty of Psychology, Laura Koesten is Co-PI of the Climaviz Project.

This research explores how different visualizations of climate change data influence public beliefs, and support mitigation policies of the viewer, as well as pro-environmental behaviors.
By manipulating different visualization characteristics, the work aims to uncover which aspects effectively communicate the urgency of climate change. The insights gained will be used for refining communication strategies in climate data visualization.
